Privacy and Return Policy

Overview

Our refund and return policy lasts for 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition as when it was received, including the original packaging.

Certain types of products cannot be returned. This includes any downloadable vehicle history reports, as well as items deemed non-returnable due to their nature, such as hazardous materials.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or vehicle reports
  • Certain automotive tools or accessories

To complete your return, proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is required.

Please do not send your item back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted. These include:

  • Any item that is not in its original condition or is damaged for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Downloadable products that have already been accessed

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. First, check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company as it may take some time for the refund to post.
  3. Contact your bank as there can be processing delays before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us via email at {email address} and send the defective product to: gethistoryreport@gmail.com..

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or if the order was shipped to the gift giver for later delivery, the refund will be issued to the gift giver, and they will be informed about the return.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for covering your own shipping costs when returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your location, the time it takes for exchanged products to reach you may vary.

For more expensive items, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
